Many people in the world they don’t know about the badly truth of the obesity, they think it’s a normal condition that might makes you feels lazy or difficult in your movement, but that’s  wrong and you will know the answers of all these questions during listening to this presentation.

Body:

The correct definition of the obesity is:
A condition characterized by saving or storage fat more than the needs of the body. It’s a serious disease that can have a negative effect on many systems in your body.
People who are overweight or obese have a much greater risk of developing serious conditions- like diabetes, cancer and heart disease and others…

Three decades ago, the obesity rate for adults in the world was 15%. On the other hand, today the rate has more than doubled to 35%.
what do you think about the obesity in UAE?!

   Obesity in UAE:
Obesity has become a major problem in UAE. Over 60% of Emirati nationals are overweight. This is a        difficult problem with many serious effects on the individual and country.
Obesity can be divided into three main causes’ diet, lifestyle and education. One of the main causes is diet. The most of the people don’t know how to do a proper and healthy diet. For EX: many people think that they shouldn’t eat more than three small meals a day while they are on a diet  and that’s wrong  because they are making their bodies store the food, but the correct way is to eat five or six small and out of fat meals a day, to let the body burns what you are eating. Lifestyle is a second main cause of obesity. As a result of cheap foreign labor, many Emiratis now have sedentary jobs, and do not exercise regularly. However, one of the main causes is lack of education and awareness. Parents do not teach good eating habits to children, and many people lack knowledge about good nutrition or a balanced diet.
Obesity affects the individual and the country. The biggest effect is on the individual. First of all, being overweight has health risks as I told you in the definition. The quality of life suffers, as it is difficult to enjoy exercise or move. Another result is lack of self-esteem. This can lead to depression, and crash diets. The country is also affected. It becomes very expensive for the government to provide advanced medical care such as heart transplants. Unhealthy citizens are also less productive, and their children learn poor eating habits. Obesity or even being overweight has serious effects on the individual and the society. Both need to take action to examine the causes of this problem and find solutions. Obesity is not only a single problem in your life. It may cause various symptoms like: diabetes, breathing problems, depression and high blood pressure

Finishing:
To sum or to summarize the information that we shared in the presentation. I would like to tell you about the symptoms, causes, disadvantages and the solutions.

·         Diabetes
·         Breathing problems
·         Depression
·         High blood pressure

Causes of Obesity:

·         Wrong eating habits

Definitely there are no any advantages for being obese. So I will list some of the disadvantages:

1.       breathing becomes difficult
2.       Walking is an effort
3.       Clothing does not fit
4.       In addition to all diseases that can be caused

Solutions:

·         Minimize the number of calorie income by starting a healthy diet.
·         Burn the unwanted fats.
·         If its out of control, some surgeries may help

 The conclusion:

Obesity is a serious problem that everyone should consider. People with obesity, must try their best to get rid of this issue. People should being helping each other to kill this monster.
